EU immigration rules – in 90 seconds – BBC News

Thousands of migrants are trying to reach Europe to escape war zones in the Middle East and poverty and turmoil in Africa.
Germany has suspended the Dublin regulation – a system where asylum seekers must make their applications in the first EU country they reach – for Syrians. So what are the rules governing immigration to the EU and should the system be restructured to make it fairer to all of the member nations?

  1. Theres a simple solution to immigration:

Zero tolerance, no immigrant shall be allowed to even step foot in the continent. Well defended borders, all who try to cross while be shot at or sent back immediatly without even entering the continent. Eletrical fences and soldiers along the borders to shoot at anyone who tries to enter. Planes to fly along the sea border, if they find a boat approaching helicopters will fire warning shots at them and order them to turn back, if they dont comply the helicopter will shoot out the engines on the boat and a towing boat will tow them back to shore in their own country.

No asylum seeking, if they want to escape war they can go to another middle eastern country or to another african country.

All immigrants who are found shall be immediatly deported back to where they came from.

Europeans who smuggle immigrants across the border shall face life in prison.

Companies who provide jobs for immigrants shall recive heavy fines.

If these are implimented i promise you we will have no immigrants in a couple years.

  2. Hungary and Bulgaria do not have border you dumb American, the country you are showing there is Srbia and that was not the only reason for strengthening the border, not even the main one, please geography, my son is 5 he can name every country in the world

  3. The vast majority of migrants today are economic migrants who have no rights in the EU , except deportation . They will find no future in the EU , and like migrants in Canada will be obliged to leave due to the lack and expense of housing , and the cost of everyday living , and also the fact that the vast majority are badly educated , and have no social education .

  4. Guys just to say this is false the government doesn’t care doenst want Europe to be great, man I wish there was someone who cared about their own country being great
