The crisis in the Middle East is escalating. Iran and Hamas are accusing Israel of assassinating Hamas’s top political leader, Ismael Haniyeh. They say Wednesday’s airstrike in the Iranian capital Tehran will not go unpunished. Hardline protesters took to the streets, vowing revenge and denouncing Israel and the US.

For the latest, we talk to our correspondent Tania Krmer in Jerusalem.

We also speak with Alex Vatanka, director of the Iran Program at the Middle East Institute in Washington DC.

  1. Iran has not even avenged soulemani. Then the president recently. Now this..i think Iran is not advanced at all. All bark no bite.

  2. this woman calls a terrorist "Diplomat", i wonder if her children were hostage she would've still call those terrorists diplomats

  3. I thought Iran was a very safe place for these guys? I also thought that Israel will be scared to try anything on Iran's soil. Enough of killings. Let there be peace in the middle East.

  4. The hamas leader was a dead man walking. He thought he was safe on Tehran soil. Shows Iranians are confused on who murdered him and are trying to save face. The enemy is among themselves. The Iranian house of cards has cracked and slowly falling apart. They are vulnerable and exposed. Weakness.

  5. IS KHALED MESHAAL INVOLVED IN THE ASSASINATION OF HANIYEH??

ISMAIL HANIYEH ARE UNDER IRANS SECURITY, HANIYEH WAS STAYING IN A SPECIAL RESIDENCE IN TEHRAN… THE TALIBAN COMMANDER ABDOL HAMID KHORASANI BLAMED IRANS KHAMENEI FOR THE ASSASINATION OF HAMAS CHIEF.,, THE TALIBAN COMMANDER SAID IRAN AND ISRAEL ARE TWO SIDES OF THE SAME COIN.. WHY DID IRAN SOLD ISMAIL HANIYEH TO ISRAEL??

  6. Iran should quit and allow Israel be, stop attacking Israel, and have their peace. They should count the cost of their loses in the past few months.
