  1. Good to know that lady-like jackets are in style. I was decluttering one but I’ll having on to it for another season or two. Thanks!

  2. Never get rid of good belts! Im 51 and have collected 2 dresser drawers worth over my lifetime. They go in and out of style. I always have the perfect belt for any outfit because of my collection. Plus, the old leather belts are a better quality than anything made now.

  3. I regret not buying a cropped trench I saw…it would be so practical in my not cold winter climate! I thought it weird at first too…we wpnt fimd these vintage either first go round for these.

  4. I scored a pair of 90s-style dark chocolate suede pants in my size (tall!) on ebay a few days ago, can't wait for them to arrive!

  5. Thank god for suede boots because I bought a ridiculously expensive pair of suede boots from Paul Green at the start of 2020 when I was still full time in the office. I can wear them again out and about and just about anywhere! Oh, and maybe with my leopard print pants!! 🙂

  6. Ty so much. I actually take what you have said. Go in my closet and pull things I have and then add a few pieces. It’s a great asset watching your videos

  7. o think cropped trench coats are like buying rain sandals: pointless. i live in a climate where winter is find and usually damp and we need all the warmth we can get.

  8. I bought the most beautiful silk maxi skirt in navy blue from Banana Republic last year that I am going to wear the heck out of this fall. I think the trick to keep it from looking overly dressy is to wear something more casual on top, like a button-down shirt or a lightweight sweater. Silk for the win!

  9. The full skirts are very tricky for petites, because if they are too full they literally swallow a petite person up. AND I have always liked the ladylike jackets, because on petites they are WONDERFUL! Leopard prints I just am not into, but if I found a skinny belt with leopard print, I MIGHT be able to wear leopard that way because it is so subtle. Great video, Anna!

  10. I love my Barbour jacket, especially because I got it two years ago from eBay. Nice to know it’s on trend now. The brown suede boots are my favorite ones.

  11. Cropped trench coats are easier to wear… they're good for drivers and commuters… you get the look with less fabric than a traditional trench

  12. Anna love your updates and trend news.
Have you noticed the big skeletal clocks on the wall are definitely dated now …. I was holding on to mine I moved it to the garage but I had to let it go

  13. I think women wear sneakers, especially in Paris, because maybe they will have to run fast XD (I live in France, fortunately not in Paris and I really don't want to go there XD)

  14. I'm a trainers with everything kind of girl.
Comfort yet stylish, not big ugly chunky trainer's, but plain white leather.

  15. I think it’s hilarious how I enjoy your channel, but disagree with a lot of your favorites. I’m all about quality shows that don’t hurt one’s feet, but as long as we bend to this awful trend of wearing athletic shoes and calling them fashion, the shoe manufacturers wont continue to bring comfort into high style. I’m only 5’3” and am continually looking for ways to look taller. Big ole chunky flat sneakers will always make me feel like Mrs. Frump. So “no” to that one. And I will have to say that I could never imagine myself buying a silk skirt until I saw how cute it looked on you. I’m going to consider that. I think one in chocolate with brown tall boots and a cropped jacket or even a cropped puffer might be something I can actually pull off this Fall. Rock on, Sister, even if we disagree.

  16. Love your videos! Some fun trends I can wear. Love the silk skirts and preppy trend. Can’t do leopard at my age, but trousers with sneakers are ❤

  17. The leopard pants are cute, but I think the will be out of style next year. I think coats, skirts, tops, purses and shoes might stay around longer.

  18. I really love how your taste and style are always so chic. My favorite is the amzclothes coat, it’s amazing.

  19. The sneakers-with-everything-trend has been going on here (= Belgium, France, Netherlands, Suisse, Austria, …, mid Europe, essentially) for a few years and it's staying! My daughter and her friends go out in the most fancy dresses and… sneakers! Much better to dance on. I'm so happy these youger women adapted this style and choosing comfort over pain!

  20. Chore coat: L L Bean has had them continuously and there are so many available on eBay, etc., too.

  21. Leopard with derp mossy green looked great in an outfit at the Edith Head costume exhibit in Oklahoma City. Leopard isn’t usually my thing, but that was a great combination.

  22. Thank you for creating this channel! I took a good hard look at myself 18 months ago and saw a grey haired frumpy aging lady. After deciding to “do something about it”, I got an REAL hair style and started watching your videos. Now, EVERY TIME I leave the house in an actual “put together, thought out outfit”, I get compliments. I get more respect from my peers in the community and my self esteem has been elevated higher than any other decade (and I have 6 to choose from!). I can’t send you enough gratitude, your encouragement has been life changing!

  23. “Barbour” is a company that makes waxed jackets; they are not all “barn” jackets. The ones you are showing are from Carhartt, LL Bean, J Crew, etc.

  24. Why would you spend $150 on fake suede when it’s such an inexpensive material? Don’t waste $$ and get the real deal.

  25. I worked at Harvard University in Cambridge Massachusetts (now retired) and would walk to work in sneakers and change to heels when I got to the office.

  26. I stick with classics so I don't waste money, but I usually incorporate one or two inexpensive trends a year. In our current economy, staying within my budget is the most important thing.

  27. Working girl! Exactly. I've kind of been wondering if that will ever come back or if there are some people in New York City that still do that

  28. The sneaker-trend has been "trending" in Europe for many, many years now… in fact, I first fell in love with Veja sneakers and purchased my very first pair of Vejas when I visited Paris. I now see they're catching up here in the US as I see many girls wearing them. I actually love the dress and slacks with sneakers trend. Just looks very classy and demure.

  29. I’m 53 and I wore every one of these trends during sometime in the 90’s. I love the more dressy look again!

  30. I am here out if curiosity. As much as I'd love being in style, certain clothes just don't suit my body type(smaller than average, skinny legs and arms ), so i just end up wearing anything that fits me…which I usually find in the kids/teenager section…

  31. 6:29 I can’t afford to buy all these trends if your only gonna get the nice ones in expensive stores & then the trend changes. Waste of money. I hate preppy. If you buy the trendy clothes at a cheaper places it’s just tacky

  32. I love that clothes are beautiful and elegant again. I dread when low rise skinny jeans and skimpy are back.

  33. Please consider recommending vegan products. There is tremendous cruelty to animals in the production of suede and even silk.

  34. Silk & satin= wrinkles. Lots of unavoidable wrinkles. No thanks -unless it's a woven or knit silk which doesn't show wrinkles.
